the greater Albuquerque area providing excellent care and supervision for
children from six weeks to twelve years of age. The Child Care Licensing
Board, a division of the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department,
is responsible for licensing child care centers and day care homes. The

The YWCA operates Carino, a resource and referral service to help parents
find and evaluate prospective child care providers. For information call

Parents can also choose from several preschool programs offered throughout
